Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I am having low back pain. I have had a chiropractor twll me from looking at xrays that i have a lot of arthritis and degenerative spine. I have diverticulitis. Will diverticulitis cause low back pain? Also i wake every morning with tingling in my left hand along with severe pain so much that i cant close it and have to shake my hand to get the tingling to stop.
The lower back pain is due to the degenerative spine and not the diverticulitis. And the tingling and numbness in your upper limbs could be due to a deficiency in vitamin B12 or a compression caused by the degenerative spine in the cervical region. An MRI of your spine along with a check on your vitamin B12 levels will be warranted.
Best wishes.
