Can Ear Wax Removal Kit Be Used 4 Years After A Tympanoplasty?

I had a tympanoplasty about four years ago, and now would like to use the ear wax removal kit that includes peroxide and rubber syringe. If I am gentle, can I use the kit? I have psoriasis and think there is some scale in the outer ear canal that collects wax.

Hi,

It's better not to try that yourself and should consult otolaryngologist and get a detailed otoscope examination done. Cause of blockage or fullness should be ruled out first and treated accordingly. Even if it's wax, it should ideally be extracted by the otolaryngologist himself.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
