I had an emg today and about an hour after the test I started to get a rash on my neck where one of the needles were put but it s just on my neck not at any other points where the test was done. Is that normal? I tired calling the spine neuro center but they were already closed
It is normal to have rash on the skin where needle was inserted. Nothing to worry about. It should resolve in 4-5 days.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
