Can Epidural Injections For Back Pain Cause Mid And Low Abdminal Pain?

Due to a masive and invasive brain tumor, I have total glandular atrophy to include the hypothalmus, pituitry, synthroid and adrenal glands. Because of untreatable back pain, I have received 2 epidural injections which have helped reduce the pain and increase mobility. However, at this time, I now have mid and low abdominal pain when I bathroom or reach down to pick something up from the floor, etc. Could this be a side effect of the injections?

HI.
Sorry to know about the Brain Tumor and Back Pain. It is good to know that the Regional anesthesia in the form of epidural injections have helped you.
The pain which you have described - like mid and low abdominal and when you bend down does not look to be due to Epidural injections.
This is more likely to be due to intra-abdominal problem like urinary tract infection or enteritis. Ultrasonography and a trial of an antibiotic can help you to get this problem solved .
