Can Epilepsy Cause Permanent Memory Loss?

i was diagnosed with epilepsy back in 2006 and recently in the past few months i have been forgetting a lot to the point where i forget what i did yesterday i have to ask my husband so that i can refresh my memory is it possible that epilepsy can cause permanent memory loss

Well come to HCM
Epilepsy can cause the loss of memory but some time this could cause little difficulty in memorize the things or events but not loss of memory, with proper care of disease this may not cause even the difficulty in memorize the things, hope this helps.
