Can Epilim,tegratol And Lamotrigine Cause Any Problem In Fertility?
Hi, I am a male 31 yr old epileptic. All under control, but have been reading contradicting info on the net. I am on 1000mg of epilim, 1200mg of tegratol and 100mg of lamotrigine/lamicatal daily. Me and my better half are discussing having a child. Do any of my drugs make me infertile? Many thanks.

Yes the epileptic drugs may cause infertility in both male and female. In female who are taking 3 or more anti epileptic drugs and chances of infertility is 18times more.
But in male chance if erectile dysfunction and reduce sperm count etc possible. So please check your self before conceiving a baby.
