Can Exercise Induced Asthma, Chest Pain And Shortness Of Breath?

My 16 year old daughter had chest pain and shortness of breath during a sports tryout. 2 EKGs were abnormal but an echo was normal. She is scheduled to have a stress test. Could exercise induced asthma cause the symptoms as well as the abnormal EKG?

Hello,

Asthma can be an option and she should get evaluated doing a spirometry. Also taking count that ECG was abnormal then it can be cause the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
