Hi I went to the doc yesterday to have a lump behind my neck and shoulder are checked out...she told me it was nothing to be worried about that its was a lymphoma and if it doesn't hurt or bother it will go away on its own...my question is is there any exercise that can relieve the tightness around it?

Hi,Welcome to HCM.
Based on the facts of your query, the lump is declared by your doctor,as non lymphomas. So dont bother for them,as they would go on their own.
Check if you have scalp opinion or pharyngeal recent infections,as these may be causing such post-infection lumps in neck and shoulder.
You should not worry as it is not Cancerous and is treatable bruise with bump.
AS its a body's response of the immune system to infective or foreign ailement,no exercise would reduce it.So dont be worried about it.
A Second Opinion from your Physician/ and or Surgeon would fix your worry.
This reply would resolve your current issues and would reduce your anxiety with it.

Hope this reply would help you to plan treatment with your doctor.
Will appreciate your Hitting thanks and writing excellent review comments to help needy patients like you.
Welcome with any other further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
