Can Extra Dosage Of Lisinopril Be Taken For Elevated Blood Pressure?

I have recently been diagnosed with high Blood pressure. I am still trying to find the right dosage to take my blood pressure down. I have been prescribed 10 mg lisinpril...I already took my dose this am, but just took my blood pressure and it s 170/106...can I take another pill or half a pill?

Welcome to HCM.

Never do alteration in the dosage of any medication without consulting doctor, as they can produce adverse effect. As you have mentioned your bp is still hush, it requires some footage to bring it down, I won't happen in single or dosage or do. If it continues to be higher we have to consider combination of agents rather than increasing the dose of single agent. For that you have to see doctor for examination and prescription of any did if required.
