Can Fallopian Tubal Blockage Be Treated Through Ayurved?
Hello Doctor My wife has a fallopian tubal blockage in the left side of the fallopian tube and we are not having kids for 8 years. Can the fallopian tubal blockage be cured using ayurvedic medicines. Which is the best place for such a treatment in Chennai or Bangalore. I am not interested in laproscopy as the block gets back in 5 or 6 months time. Please let me know in detail.Regards Sankar

1. since not able to conceive since 8 years, make sure periods are regular, which imply that ovulation is also regular, and if diagnosis is through investigation [ultrasound] then check up with Gynecologist is necessary to rule out any other concomitant pathology.
2. It can be deduce from the history that she is in fertile period, so it is/will be a good option to opt for IVF because if you delay or opt for it in later decade it may result in congenital anomalies.
3. In Ayurveda, Panchkarma Procedure "Uttar Basti" has shown encouraging results in blocked fallopian tube cases, you may consider it after consulting an experienced Ayurveda Physician there.

Look for the reason of tubal block. If it is tubercular in origin then get it treated with allopathy. If any other reason is responsible then it is treated completely in Ayurveda with use of internal medicines and panch karma where uttar vasti is offered to cure it.
