Can Father Avoid Bypass Surgery For RCA 90% And LCX 70% Block?
hi, my father is 57 yrs old... recently angiography reveals that his RCA is 90% blocked and LCX is 70% blocked. is EF is 60%. His PDA is seen to and fro flow from collaterals retrogradely and PLB is free of disease. Can you please suggest any alternative way so that he does not need the bypass surgery.. Debika
The decision depends on the exact location, length of stenosis, nature of plaque, flow reserve, associated morbidity and so on One could opt for percutaneous intervention – balloon dilatation and stent The treating doctor alone could conclude better, based on the total clinical picture
Good luck God bless you
