Can Feeling Numbness In Body Followed By Light-headedness Be Related To Hypothyroidism?
When I'm trying to go to sleep, I feel a numbness in my body, follow by light-headness. I was labeled with sleep apnea but the cpap makes it worse. It will help a little but I can't keep blowing air in my head I will then get dizzy, so I take it off. I have no problems what so ever while I'm sleepng it's only while I'm try to go to sleep. I was giving anxiety pills too and they don't help; it just make me feel sooooooo sleep that I literally pass out. Also, I have hypo-thyrodism with goiter is that could be the problem?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. All these symptoms appear to be due to the hypo thyroidism, and its medicines. If you are using thyroixine, or levothyroxine there is a possibility of the rise in blood pressure. It may cause the difficulty to sleep, and may be dyspnoea. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Have check up of BP, so that you can have clue for treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ranitidine300 BD and supportive therapy. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have good heath and resistance. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
