General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Femilon is a combined oral contraceptive. To start with, few ladies get gastrointestinal side effects with the pills. Please do not discontinue the course in between, it may cause menstrual irregularity
Do not take it on empty stomach,You can use Metoclopramide ( Perinorm pill to avoid the side effect if needed.
Mostly you will get used to it in few days.
If the symptoms continue after 1 month, visit your Gynecologist on 4th or 5th day of periods & ask for a change( oral pill/ IUD)
Thanks
