Can Femilon Contraceptive Pills Be Taken Randomly?

pls help me doctor,i am a 24 yr old married,my doctor suggested me to take femilon to regulate my menstrual cycle.i m taking the tablets 4 the first time,actually its for 21 days,the first 7 days i followed the arrows in tablets,but de 8th day and the 9th day i took the 14th and 13th days tablets wrongly from the other side,today at the 10th day i saw my mistake,pls help me what should i do now??I need your immediate help as soon as possible...I am afraid......

Hi,

All the 21 tablets in the pack of Femilon, contain same amount of both the active ingredients-- Ethinyl Estradiol and Desogestrel. Hence, as far as, its action or efficacy is concerned, it is immaterial the sequence in which you take these pills. Therefore, the effects will be same, in any sequence you take the pills to complete all the 21 tablets.

However, the sequence of the tablet is marked to make you aware of any missed dose or preventing a dose to be taken twice on a particular day. Therefore, it is always advised & is also in the best interest of you, to take the tablets in the sequence, these are shown on the pack.
