Can Femilon Tablets Affect Pregnancy?

hello doc.iam 23yrs old women i started femilon 20 days back ..so after 21days i get the breakthrough bleeding for 3days shud i start immediately again the nextcourse on fourth day or after 7days? as i started femilon how safe is it if plan a pregnancy 2yrs later ?

Hi

You can start the new pack from the fifth day of menstrual cycle and continue the pills for 21 days and wait for the breakthrough bleeding to occur.You have enquired the effect of drug on pregnancy planning after 2 years.You need not worry.In case of planning pregnancy,you can stop the pills and wait for one or two cycles to normally occur without the pills.During this period, drug will be completely flushed out of your system.Pregnancy can be planned after this period.
