Can Fluctuations In The Thyroid Level Trigger The Blood Sugar Level?

Can thyroid imbalance or malfunction worsen blood sugar and cause my feet to sweat (not all the time, but often)? I am a 56 years old female. Other symptoms include: I get warm and/or sweat for about 5 seconds and it subsides. My hands and feet can get very cold at times.

Hello,

Diabetes is an autoimmune disorder just like thyroid problems. You should get your TSH level done with RBS and HBA1c and consult back with reports.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap, Cardiologist
