Can Fluctuations In Thyroid Level Cause Insomnia Problems?

I have a thyroid that has many nodules and a goider Every year I get a sonogram keeping an eye on them.blood test come back ok, throat sometimes feels tight and have to watch pressure on my neck at times. The answer I seek is I have severe insomnia and wondering even though blood work is fine could the thyroid be causing it?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have multinodular goitre. If your thyroid function test is normal then your insomnia is not due to thyroid related cause. It is due to some other cause.

Multinodular goitre can turn in to malignancy. So surgery should be done. Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
