Can Ganglion Cyst Be Remotely Related To Cervical Issues?

I believe I have a ganglion cyst on my right wrist. I have had three cervical fusions with chronic right arm weakness and numbness/tingling to my radial region and index finger. My question is can the ganglion cyst be remotely related to my cervical issues? Thanks

Hi,

Such cyst mostly comes from within the joint space....but rarely it can start with some degenerative process surrounding to joint &then get attached to joint space.

In your case possibility of cyst following degenerative processes due to hampered nerve supply remain. It can be noted by MRI of the part. Consult your orthopedic doctor for specific guidance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
