Can Getting A Vaccine Cause Delay In Periods?

I m late on my period but I have protected sex. Im 100% sure I can t be pregnant but I m 6 days late now. What could it be? Does getting a vaccine recent affect it? I recently got the hpv vaccine and meningitis 2 days before I was suppose to get my period.

Hello,

There is no relation between doing a vaccine and period. The vaccination doesn't influence period or hormones.

May be you are having a hormone imbalance and since you had protected intercourse the risk of pregnancy is low. Anyway do a pregnancy home test at least 5 days of delayed period.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
