Can Getting Hit On Ear Cause Internal Bleeding And Loss Of Hearing?

Sorry for not using formalities...
My friend was smacked in the ear while at work. He says that it feels like there is water trapped in his ear and he can't really hear anything.... could it be internal bleeding?? a smack wouldn't cause a ruptured eardrum...???

DRUM IS VERY THIN PORTION OF THE EAR EVEN A SLIGHT TOUCH OVER THE EAR CAN CAUSE PERFORATION
THERE ARE CHANCES OF PERFORATION IN DRUM AS THE DRUM RUPTURES THE FLUID OR BLOOD COME OUT AND DUE TO RUPTURE THERE IS DECREASED HEARING
I WILL ADVISE TO GET PHYSICAL CONSULTATION FROM ENT DOCTOR TO DECIDE THE FURTHER COURSE OF MANAGEMENT
