Generally, a good way of thinking about what you need to be concerned about during pregnancy is to remember that if whatever happens to you- if it doesn t hurt you, it generally will not hurt the baby. This is not necessarily true about prescription medications, but regarding other things (physical activity, minor accidents or injuries, beauty treatments for example) you really do not have to worry about the baby if you are not physically hurt. So unless you had a shock severe enough to stop your heart or burn you you do not need to worry about small electric shocks hurting the baby. But please be careful doing electrical repairs- you yourself can be electrocuted if there is damaged wiring... please wear appropriate protective equipment or turn the circuit to the area off while working!
