Can Giving Ofloxacin And Tinidazole Safe For Amoebiasis To A 14 Year Old?

can i give my 14 years old daughter any combination of ofloxacin and tinidazole for amoebiasis ?previously she used to take norfloxacin and tinidazole combination fr 5 to 7 days...also cifrofloxacin and tinidazole combination as SOS...this is URGENT Sir.

Hi.Understanding your concern.As per your query combination of ofloxacin and tinidazole can be given to daughter as it is broad spectrum antibiotic and used for treating amoebiasis and other stomach infections......If infection usually reoccurs Metrnidazole and diloxanide combination helpful in treating amoebiasis infection as it also kills the spores of bacteria which may left behind sometimes.You can give it for 5 days twice.....Keep her on a light diet.Give juices and yoghurt.Wash hands properly before taking food.
