Can H-pylori Cause Pain In Testicles And Epididymitis?
I was diagnosed with h.pylori last month and I went through Triple Therapy. Those issues have been resolved; however now I am ache in my testicles. I have had chronic epididymitis in the past, and now has returned. Could this still be the result of h.pylori? And what can be done?
Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in Testicles and you doubt it to be due to H-pylori infection that you had last month.
Please note that it is not due to H-pylori infection but flare up of your previous epididymal infection (Chronic Epididymitis).
Please consult qualified urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Routine urine and urine culture . 2) Ultrasound scanning of scrotum
You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily. Please note that epididymitis takes long time to get cured hence one needs to take appropriate antibiotics for long time (4-6 weeks)
