Can Having L4 L5 Herniated Disc Lead To Nerve Problems?
I have l4-l5 herniated disc. with traversing nerve root impingement for almost 3 years stemming from a work related injury. Am I gonna have nerve issues stemming from this injury traveling down my left leg, especially since this issue was created through a delay of medical treatment through worker s comp?
Yes. The is nerve compression by the slipped disc. You need to get an MRI to look for the extent of nerve compression. If there is significant compression, you may require surgery.
