Can Having Less Sex Cause Darkening Of Outer Vaginal Area?

Hello, I have a question. I am a 44 year old African-American female and I have noticed that my vagina has turned a very dark color outside almost black. My sex drive has slowed due to my husband s decline in sexual activities due to heart and health problems. Would having less sex contribute to my vagina s color? The inside is still somewhat pink but I have really noticed the darking of the outside of my vag. Thanks,

Thznks for your question on HCM. In my opinion it is not due to less sex but it is due to age related changes in organs.
Loke any skin, aging also affect the labia majora and minor. And in females during menopause hormonal changes occur.
And youf age 44 is the age of menopause so chances of hormonal and age related skin changes are more appropriate in your case.
There is nothing related to less sexual act.
So don't worry about it. It is just age and hormonal change related skin darkening.
