If you would clarify a few things for me, I could give a beter response. 1) when was your last period? 2) were you given any medications to reduce the size of the cyst.? 3) how long have you had the cyst for? what kind of a cyst was it? (functional or complex) 4) when in your menstrual cycle was the cyst removed? 5) were your cycles regular? The chances of you conceiving depend on the answers to the above questions. Chances are slim but it is possible to get pregnant if you were near ovulation time when cyst was removed ( also depends on the type of cyst) If you do not intend on getting pregnant, I would advice other methods of contraception ( not safe period), at least until your periods regularise. hope I ve answered your question .
