Can Hearing Loss Be Restored With Medication In An Aged Person?
I am hard of hearing from left ear for the last many months. My age is 70+. I got my ear examined from ENT specialist who has advised use of hearing aid which I am not willing. Can my hearing loss be restored with medication. Please advise. I am covered under ALBERTA Blue Cross for Doctors fees and medicines.
It would be difficult for me to say , since i have not seen your hearing test results , However if you are having nerve deafness , then it is unlikely that you will benefit from any tablets and the best thing would be to use a hearing aid. There are many types of hearing aids , and i would like you to try one before making up your mind. Thanks
