I have a pons hemanfioma. its tripled in size in 1 year next meri was supposed to have in December as now referred to as an aggressive tumor already bleeding into white brain matter and caused mini stroke. stopped driving, then told good thing I made that decision. due to another event hat has me falling all then timew went to er wewhere treated for headache none of other problems. apparently ct scan showed it has tgotten bigger but did not tell hcp how big. hospice aqadvises getting mri asap not waiting until dec. but will not help me otherwise at this point. I live in ny state. MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I BE PUSHING MYSELF OR JUST RESTING OR WHAT.
hi sir/mam,pons Hemangioma is not that common.MRI is the standard investigation to assess its size, any leakage, compression of surrounding structures etc.please do go for an MRI and have a consultation of a neurosurgeon.it can’t be medically treated and surgery is the only option.so please do not delay any more to avoid undue complications.hope I,m clear.all the very best.any further queries,do let me know.its my pleasure to guide you.thank you.take care.bye.
