Can Homeopathic Treatment Be Taken While Being On Medications For Rheumatoid Arthritis?

I am a chronic patient of rheumatoid arthritis since many years. Presently doctor prescribes Sazo-1000mg tablet twice a day along with other medicines like Sylibon-140 mg, Arava-10 mg (one day interval) and Folitrax-15 mg inj (once in a week). Would you kindly inform me whether these medicines have any side effects? Can I switch on to Homeopath medicine leaving these medicines?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, so far as rheumatoid arthritis is concerned, the symptomatic severity and patient concern decides the course of action for management. The homeopathic treatment can be taken with the allopathic medicines as described above. The idea of quitting the allopathy and switching over to solely homeopathic would be not rewarding and may flare up the controlled inflammatory condition.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
