Hello. I have got an industrial piercing since January. Now is infected, with pus, heat, swollen and bump in each hole :( I have been clean really good, with sea salt and Sodium Chloride and I put Bactroban and I took antibiotic but still the same after 5 days...Can I use HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 1%? Hello,

I would not put hydrocortisone on the area you describe as being potentially infected. Based on your description, it does in fact sound infected. A triple antibiotic ointment is a reasonable place to start but would consider having a physician actually look at it in case there is an abscess forming. the treatment for abscesses is to open it up with a sterile needle or scalpel to let the pus drain out.

I hope this helps.
