Can I Be Pregnant With Metformin Tablets Naturally Or Not?
Hello doctor, I m trying to get pregnant, my doctor preacribed me metfoemin hydrochloride Tablets ip 500mg for a month and duphaston 10mg for 10 day I want to know that metformin can help to grow egg and ovulation or not. Can i be pregnant with these tablets naturally or not.

Metformin will help in regularization of your irregular menstrual cycle (which I am assuming is present due to polycystic ovaries) and will also promote weight loss, which in turn will increase the chances of conception. But metformin will not directly contribute to conception.
Once your menstrual cycle has regularized, your doctor can shift you over to clomiphene citrate which should promote conception directly.
