hi Doctor i am 25yrs old female I have mild PCOS in follicular study of 12th day size of ovum on Rt ovary has size of 10.3mm*12 mm and Lt has 12.4mm*12.6mm and endometrial thickness of 6.8mm. No fluid in POD.In 14th day Rt ovary has no differenz and Lt has 15.2mm*14.8mm of size and endometrial thickness of 7.6mm also no fluid in POD My question is, this size is relevent for conception and when it rupture?
According to your ultrasound findings: - At first two dominant follicles developed one in each ovary - Follicle in left ovary is gradually developing - Endometrial thickness is also gradually growing - Absence of fluid in POD indicates that rupture not yet occurred.
Now, - Usually ovulation is expected at around 14th day, but in your case it may be little delayed. You have to continue your alternate day ultrasound - The follicle should reach around 20 to 22 mm, for ovulation to occur usually. It may take three to four more days in your case for this - Once it reaches sufficient size you can take beta HCG injection and can plan for conception.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
