Can I Get Any Infection If Needle Comes In Contact With Wound?

im dealth in nursing yesterday i had a cut in my forefinger in da morning today near about at 2 pm while i was injecting a lady somehow side of da needle came in contact with da open wound of da forefinger but my wound was not bleeding as almost there was 30hrs gap b/w my injury and my exposure to needle. sounds crazy bt im frightened if there r any chances of infection like aids or jaundice.i dont know weather uffering from these disease or not.

Hi thanks for asking question.
Here you have contact with needle but not bleed.
So very less chance of getting infection.
But still if you want to be on safe side do that lady's HIV and HBSag and HCV test.
If source is HIv positive pep is taken.
And if source is known case of hepatitis then antiglobulin is taken.
Here very very rare chance of getting infection.
So don't worry.
