Can I Give My 2 Years Old Baby Water Frequently If She Asks ?
my daughter, 2 yrs old, is suffering from high fever (102 F) from 02 days, i was giving her brufen(6 hourly). After brufen, her temperature comes down to normal, but again, as brufen s effect is low, temp rises. last night, she was shivering too. now, one doc says she got acute malaria . but she doesnt prespire. i am confused and very upset. please help. and last thing: during high fever, she keeps asking for water..

She needs immediate Medical attention. Take her to a Pediatrician immediately. She may need Hospitalisation and started on antibiotics. Malaria or viral fever has to be ruled out through blood tests. She is losing body water due to high temperature which is making her thirsty. Give her plenty of fluids and do some tepid sponging.
