Hello and welcome to HCM, Lasik treatment for refractive errors depend on various factors like corneal topography, corneal thickness and type of refractive error. Corneal surface defects, very high refractive errors or thin corneas are contraindications for performing Lasik surgery or in other words Lasik surgery cannot be performed. There is no food to correct cylindrical error. Cylindrical error can be corrected by spectacles and special type of lenses called toric lenses. Whether Lasik surgery can be performed or not will be decided after clinical assessment by an ophthalmologist. Thus, consult your ophthalmologist for further work up.
