Can I Reduce The Medication For Panic Attacks?

sir i am suffring from panic disorder for the last 5 yrs and i am advisd to take

tab nitrovit 1 hs 5mg

tab flunarin1bd

tab prothiadine 1 hs 75mg

my quest is is it necessary to take this medication contineousely can i reduce this doctors are not ready to reduce the dose pl help me

hi, thanks for writing. i have understood your concerns..

you are suffering from panic disorder and you are on medication for last 5 years.

do you have continuous headache or heaviness over head or migraine? why are you receiving flunarin?

these drugs are all old fashioned, nowadays no body uses these medications particularly prothiadine.

instead of taking benzodiazepines like nitrovit [ nitrazepam] that is habit forming drug you shud take zolpidem

flunarin has no role in the treatment of panic disorder.

prothiadine is good drug but has many side effects instead you shud be given SSRI antidepressant drugs like paroxetine, sertraline or fluoxetine..

visit your doctor and ask for the change in the medication and stop flunarin..
