Can I See Gender Of The Baby In The Scan Done At 17 Weeks?

good evening my wife is 21 years old doctor suggested her for tiffa scanning as my second baby has born with duodenal atresia and hand limbs. my wife has gestational period of 17 weeks during which period the scanning is suggested and can i know the gender of baby during the scan as they will see all parts of baby.

Yes, sex will be known to the scanning doctor.. In India it is illegal to reveal the sex of the baby.. But in outside countries like american and arab countriez, sex is revealed to the patient.. In India as female feticide rate is high, sex shouldnot be revealed.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
