Can I Take A Drink After Having A Dog Bite?

Hello Doctor, I was bitten by a dog on last Wednesday after that i went to the doctor & he had injected me the necessary medicine. yesterday evening i have taken 2nd dose of injection & the 3rd & last injection would be taken on 01st Jan 2013... My question is can i take a drink beer or whisky on my friends new year party ??? My doctor has adviced me not to worry & have your diet normally.... Pls advice.Aakash

Of course, as your doctor says you can have your diet and all as usual.
You take care of the dogs health, for a month, if it is healthy for a month and is alive you are safe. Of course you are safe other wise also, as you are under the treatment .
You take care regarding the wound of the bite, so that it heals faster.
