Can I Take Antibiotic For Recurring Urinary Infection During Pregnancy?
i have a recuurence urine infection .is antibiotic is safe in pregnancy. i m 4 month pregnant. last time i have taken cefspan for urine infection when my urine c/s report show E.coli .and after repeat c/s again my urnie report show enteroccous spp :( what can i do now.

Hi. You can show the urine culture report again to your dr.and 2 antibiotics of different class if infection is resistant. also you should take it for 7-10 days and take plenty of fluids as well .Also keep a good hygeine and treat vaginal infection also at the same time, if present.

Infection should be treated because urine infection during pregnancy is harmful to foetus also.
You can take antibiotic because you are in second trimester.
