Can I Take Flucolxacillin And Omeprazole Together?
I am taking flucolxacillin 500mg 4 times daily for a severely infected wasp sting. It says to take on an empty stomach which is very unpleasant due to a burning sensation in my oesophagus and general indigestion. Is it appropriate to take omeprazole with this antibiotic ?

Hi and welcome to HCM. The antibiotic which u are taking belongs to penicillin group and omeprazole is an antacid. These two drugs are not known for any major drug interactions and are not harmful to take together. As per my knowledge u can go with this. Better avoid spicy food. All d best..Wish u good health
