Can I Use Lactitol,ispagulla And NTG Local Application During Pregnancy?

Is lactitol monohydrate n ispagulla oral congestion safe in pregnancy( 1st trimester ) n wat abt local application of NTG(nitroglycerin) at the anal sphincter rim thrice daily for d treatment of anal fissure for 6 to 8weeks minimum is safe during pregnancy?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion lactitol monohydrate,isaphgula and nitroglycerin ointment are safe to use.They dont harm the fetus.Constipation is a common problem in pregnancy due to hormones in pregnancy.And constipation might aggravate the fissure.So always drink adequate fluids upto 3 litres and high fibre diet to avoid constipation.
