Can I Work With People If I Suffer From Shingles?

I have a sore in the roof of my mouth (only on one side) and discomfort on my cheek, the doctor says I have shingles and gave me vaclovir. I am a support worker who works with people with disabilities but the doctor said its ok to still go to work (as long as I don t kiss them) what do you think

I really appreciate your concern, first it is not being confirmed that it is viral fever, even if is viral infection still you can work with other people and its nothing to worry, infection can not spread like this is only unless it is close contact being made, hope this is helps, take care and have a nice day.
