Can Insomnia, Regular Heartburn And Irregular Heartbeat Be A Side Effect Of The Drug Irbesartan?

Hi, I have been taking Irbesartan 150 mg for nearly 10 years now. I am a 66 year old female. I suffer from insomnia, daily heartburn and have just undergone extensive testing for an irregular heartbeat. I now discover that all these can be side effects of this drug. My GP never mentioned any of this and I am rather disappointed with him. What should I do?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really understand your worry, whatever symptoms you have that are all are related with the functional disorders and not because of the drug you are taking, you have to control your thoughts you should at east take the sleep of six hours otherwise the symptoms are very likely as you mentioned, even if you have some doubt with the drug that you are taking then you can change the drug, but important is changing your life style, take care and have nice day.
