Can Intake Of Cilacar Cause Breathing Difficulty?
Hello Doctor, I am taking Cilacar 10 mg (cilnidipine) for the last 2 months for a BP reading of 150/100, Now my problem is, I am having a breathing difficulty (Asthma type) after starting this medicine. I already had some difficulty due to Asthma for a long time, but the last 2 years I was not taking any inhalation for that. Now for the last 2 months after starting cilacar, I am taking Salbutamol inhaler due to my difficulty, Is this issue a side effect of cilacar. Thanks for your time, Gibin

There is no evidence to suggest that Cilacar causes exacerbation of asthma. In fact, they improved the symptoms of asthma in various animal models. So, Cilnidipine is not responsible for your asthma exacerbation.
