i hav given i pill to my girl friend for the first tyime aft intercourse tht is in after 24 hrs,,,,,,,,,nd i wasnt sure whter the sperm hit inside or not plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz suggest me wht shuld i do as soon as possible...is there any side effect of a i-pill 72, she has taken for the first time plz rply as soon as possible .......

i-pill is an emergency contraceptive pill. It should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse to be effective to prevent pregnancy. Earlier it is taken, better the chances of pregnancy prevention.
i-pill has cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, abdominal disturbances, diarrhea, mood swings, dizziness and menstrual irregularities. But these symptoms are more or less tolerable.
To know weather the pill is effective, she should get her periods within 3 weeks from the day of taking the pill. That indicates that she is not pregnant.
If it is delayed for more than 3 weeks, it indicates she might be pregnant and you need to seek medical help immediately.
