Can Intake Of I Pill Post Unprotected Sex Prevent Pregnancy?

Hi .... I had a unprotected sex with my husband . after 20minutes I took i- pill . how much time do I have my period s. Is there any risk of pregnancy ? My last period date is 23 may 2015.plz give me answer of my question. Thanks a lot..

Hello.
The chance of a pregnancy is reduced as you have taken the pill quite early in the recommended time period.
You might have some menstrual irregularity as a side-effect of the pill- early/late or light/heavy periods.
Just to be sure you can take the pregnancy test a week after your missed date, as pills are not 100% fool-proof.

Do not worry. You can visit your doctor for appropriate advice on birth control measures.
