Can Intake Of Metformin And Levothyroxine Cause Cough And Throwing Up?
Dr. I have diabetes and my Dr. has me on these meds Metformin, Levothyroxine for my Thyroid. I have this problem with throwing up my meals, but I stop taking my Levothroxine, and now I not throw up, but still have the coughing, Can you gave me any advice. Thank you, Sandra
Cough could be due to either Infection or allergy of throat or lungs . Do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day , eat less oily food , avoid non veg food and avoid Citrus fruits.
If cough still persists then you need to consult your doctor as you may require Antibiotic therapy.
Also don't stop Levothyroxine. You can Stop Metformin but you need to consult your doctor for an alternate medicine.
Hope this information was useful to you. Any clarification feel free to ask .
Regards.
