Can Intake Of Nordette Cause Irregular And Delayed Periods?

I took nordette 10th of march. Then i had my mens after 10 days. Then i had another menstruation on the 31st of march. Having said that, on my menstrual app, i should have my menstruation on the 28th of april. Which is the end of 28 days normal cycle as per the app. Now, since 28th, i still have no menstruation. But experiencing post signs of menstruation. Can the delay is because of nordette??

Hello,

Vaginal bleeding between periods (spotting) or missed/irregular periods may occur, especially during the first few months of use of Nordette. But Nordette is an oral contraceptive pill that helps in regularizing periods. So you don't need to worry to take the tablet.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
