Can Intake Of Norethisterone Affect The Ovulation Period?
Hello In July I took the tablets norethisterine to stop my period as I was getting married I then stopped half way through and came on. Then in August I had unprotected sex the day before I started my period But now i am getting symptoms of pregnancy such as sore breats, cramps and feeling sick Could taking the tablets back in July have affected my ovulation? As I am normally quite regular Many thanks
When you stop hormonal pills ,you might not see regular periods for a few months. Your body needs to adjust and regularise the hormone levels. So your ovulation and menstruation time might change for a few cycles.
Pregnancy tests should be done 10 days after missing the period inorder to rule out pregnancy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
