Can Intake Of Postinor 2 Post Intercourse Cause Dizziness?

doctor plz I had sex with boyfriend during ovulation and I took postinor 2 on the third day around 6:12am and took the second pill the same time in the evening.I did not feel any pains but I have been feeling uncomfortable and dizzy too.can it be that am pregnant

Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill which needs to be taken within 72 hours after an unprotected intercourse.

I hope, you have taken two tablets within the time as mentenioned so that it would offer protection against pregnancy effectively.

Since they are hormonal preparations, feeling of dizziness could be due to side effect of the pill.

Hence, relax and eat healthy food supplemented with good quantity of fluids.

You need to get withdrawal bleeding in the form of periods within 3 weeks from the day you take the pill.

In case if it doesn't happen, you need to take medical assistance immediately.
